He aha te mea nui o te ao, he tangata he tangata he tangata

“What is the most important thing in the world, it is the people, the people, the people.”

Maori proverb

Our Sensitive Team

With roots in New Zealand and a team across the United States, people are at the core of everything we do. We believe everyone’s voice matters equally, that it should be valued and truly heard. Every day, we listen and learn from each other and the sensitive community we serve. We continue to push boundaries with our innovation and purity of our formulations, all while holding our values of respect, transparency, integrity and making a difference at the forefront of everything we do.

  • Sensitive, to me, has both inward and outward aspects. The fragility of a quality life is something I have contemplated over the years. Empathy for the suffering and sensitivities of others had a profound impact on how I chose the ingredients for our product formulas.

  • To me, sensitive doesn’t mean delicate or fragile – you actually have to be a lot tougher when you’re experiencing life more deeply! And raising two beautiful young men, I can certainly attest that women aren’t more sensitive than men. Sensitive people are my favorite!

    Suzanne Sengelmann

    Chief Growth Officer

  • To me, sensitivity means a willingness to understand all people no matter what we look like or what we believe in and then embracing our differences with compassion and grace.

  • "Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.” For me, this quote encapsulates being sensitive – feeling things deeply, both “the good” and ” the bad”, and decide how you are going to react to them.

    Michele Hall

    Innovation

  • To be sensitive is to see what is in front of me. Most of the time I fail. I know this because when I succeed, the world suddenly looks very different.

    Michael Rutchik

  • To me, sensitivity is Nature’s way of protecting us against reckless abandon. Without sensitivities, we might have more disregard for our planet, for each other, and for ourselves.

    Josh Szumski

    Operations

  • To me sensitive means consideration. It means thoughtful consideration of the well-being of others. It means thinking not just about ourselves. It means looking at the details.

    Jason Bowman

    Operations

  • To me, sensitive is a universal trait sensed by all of us for varying particular reasons. We are all sensitive to something.

    Rob Lowe

    Finance

  • To me, being sensitive means walking through the world with a heightened sense of awareness. This can be both beautiful and overwhelming, often manifesting in physical reactions. This is why support for the mind AND body is equally important, especially for the sensitive among us.

    Sarah Crisp

    Digital

  • Sensitive means having appreciation and empathy for each person’s individual circumstances. We are all products of our unique experiences that shape our decisions and outlook on the world. Simply acknowledging this would go a long way in allowing us to better understand others, as well as ourselves.
